This unique, hand-made Bedside Light-Box was made with high quality materials. Its purpose is to not only be functional and beautiful itself, but to create a warm atmosphere with white light reflected off nearby surfaces. Click here to view a short YouTube video.

All of the hardwoods used either come from a sustainable source, or have been repurposed. The majority of this light is constructed with American White Oak with dark Iroko accents and one layer of Ash in the centre.

The blue vintage material covered cord adds a touch of class. It is 1.9 meters long, including inline on/off switch close to the box. Inside, is a 3W energy efficient warm white LED bulb with E14 screw fitting. The 300 lumen bulb has a lifetime of 30,000 hrs. This shines through frosted polystyrene sheet on 3 sides. It is 240 volt with a UK 3-pin plug.

Approximate size: 15 cm wide, 12 cm tall and 10.5 cm front to back.

As with all of these boxes, the hardwoods used are either sustainably sourced or repurposed. This example above uses many different layers of 3 contrasting woods, namely Oak, Iroko (darkest) and Ash.

The burgundy colored vintage material covered cord is 1.4 meters long and includes on/off switch close to the light-box. Inside, the components are exactly the same as the Light Box above.

This Bedside Light Box has many similarities to the previous one, with differences in design. There is an addition of Shorea Mahogany accents which is another hardwood, but with the difference of containing a red pigment.
