This Display Case has been custom designed and made to put on display a collection of souvenirs from traveling. The plan view silhouette is of an Airbus A-380 at 1:131 scale, which is about 60cm from wing-tip to wing-tip.

The Frame and Aircraft Silhouette are both made from repurposed Iroko Hardwood. To enhance its natural beauty, it is finished with Clear Plastic Polish and a layer of Old Pine Wax buffed to a satin finish. The background is thin Plywood with two coats of English Oak Wood Dye, then Clear Plastic Polish. The colour and orientation of the grain were carefully chosen to provide just the right contrast.
