This Jewellery Box with my wife’s stylized initial was made from repurposed wood. The Iroko Hardwood began its life early last century as school laboratory worktops. It’s very dense and strong with a tight grain, a real pleasure to work with. It is designed to hold a limited amount of jewellery that you would use on a regular basis, so the box remains out on display.
The interior is lined with Green Baize and to show off the natural beauty of the wood with excellent protection, two coats of clear Plastic Polish were applied.
